Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Krishna Institute of Pharmacy Karad was started in 2017 with intake capacity of 60. The intake capacity was increased to 100, in the year 2019, From academic year 2022-23 Our institute has started with Pharm D, Post baccalaureate (PB), PG programs (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, with the aim of providing quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
Our motto is empowerment of students with knowledge in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The quality students passing out shall thus be capable to serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs and formulations at affordable cost. Since inception, KIP has signed 18 MOUs with pharmaceutical industries, research institutes, startup companies, clinical research organizations (CRO’s), universities of repute and standalone colleges. Several co-curricular activities like Webinars, FDPs, seminars, guest lectures, and startup guidance are arranged for overall development of students.
The institute also has an innovation centre to promote higher order thinking and novel ideas of the students. The National level 'Mind Expedition The pharma Quiz competition' is organized annually by the Institute. This student centric competition is result oriented. Preparation for the quiz has fructified into 10 GPAT, 8 NIPER qualified students from the Institute in last two years.
The Institute with modern infrastructure comprises of several class rooms, tutorial rooms, conference rooms, administration hall, well equipped laboratories, digital library, & all other amenities. The infrastructure has taken shape under the dynamic guidance of Hon. Dr. Suresh Bhosale, Chairman & Chancellor of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences deemed to be University.
At present institute has great pleasure to teach and train the students from all parts of India. It is our endeavor at KIP to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical industry and academia and to produce competent personnel ‘ tailor made’ to meet the stringent demands of pharmaceutical industry.
